UQ Skills delivers nationally accredited, hands-on training in agriculture and animal industries from UQ’s Gatton campus – including the Diploma of Equine Management (ACM50421). This 12-month program prepares students for a career in the equine industry, covering horse care, nutrition, behaviour, breeding, and business skills.
Based at UQ’s specialist rural campus, students have access to world-class facilities, experienced trainers, and the opportunity to learn alongside working horses, livestock and leading researchers. The campus is also home to the UQ Equine Hospital, one of Australia’s most advanced veterinary centres for horses.
